Our client, Ringway, a trusted provider of highways services to the public sector, is seeking a Project Manager to join their team in Milton Keynes.

This is a brilliant opportunity to lead on highways schemes, working with supportive teams and valued stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes that make a real difference to communities. You will play a key role in shaping successful projects, maintaining strong relationships, and fostering a positive, safety-led working culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of medium to large highways projects within agreed budgets and timelines
  • Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all safety standards and audits
  • Oversee project plans, programmes, and resource allocation to keep work progressing efficiently
  • Monitor financial performance, including cost and value reporting and budget alignment
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams
  • Manage site operations, ensuring visible leadership and consistent communication
  • Support team development by identifying skills gaps and encouraging training opportunities
  • Ensure all applications, reporting, and documentation are completed on time
  • Promote quality standards, ensuring processes and procedures are followed consistently
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment that supports high performance

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Strong project management capability within infrastructure, engineering, or construction settings
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental practices in an operational environment
  • Confidence in managing budgets, analysing data, and making informed decisions
  • Ability to plan and prioritise workloads across multiple workstreams
  • Skilled communicator who can build relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Leadership approach that motivates teams and encourages collaboration
  • Comfortable working with performance metrics and continuous improvement approaches
  • Organised and detail focused, with the ability to meet deadlines consistently
  • Problem solving mindset with a proactive and solutions driven attitude
